COVID-19 Updates

Dear Faculty and Staff,

It has become clear that we will have to continue with online-only classes through the summer session. I appreciate all of you preparing to continue carrying out the critical operations of the college remotely until further notice. I know this is not ideal for many of us, but it appears this is the circumstance we must face together until this pandemic has passed and we can be together in person again.

We will continue to serve our students through our hotline phone number and email, food pantry, computer lab in the library, and free WiFi accessible in our parking lots. These services continue to be crucial to many of our students, and I hope you will help me encourage them to reach out if there is anything we can do to help them. There is no shame in needing assistance. We all have our struggles, and it is our responsibility and privilege to be here for our students and their families. It is also our responsibility and privilege to be here for all of you. Please do not hesitate to contact your supervisor, your deans, your President’s Cabinet member or me directly if you need help.

We will get through this together.

I encourage you all to stay as positive as possible, and make the most of the time you have with your families, friends and colleagues.

Be safe and healthy.

Jerry Steward
